Aeration & Overseeding

A tried and true service

Core aeration coupled with the addition of new grass seed is an extremely popular standalone service. We recommend lawns undergo this service at least every other year to relieve compaction and maintain turf density.

Core Aeration

Core aeration is the process of using machinery to pull core plugs out of the soil and leave them on the surface. This relieves soil compaction from foot traffic, mowers etc over the year and allows grass roots access to ample oxygen and nutrients. Additionally, it aids in seed-to-soil contact which is critical to achieve high germination rates.

Overseeding

The distribution of new seed on an existing lawn. We offer two methods of overseeing. The first is by rotary spreader following an aeration, the second is with a slit seeder

Seed Quality

The quality of the seed we use on your lawn is important to us. We select seed that has a very low weed/crop seed content and that contains appropriate grass breeds for the application.
